Jury comment:
The king of animals “brölt for Fröde” from the cover picture, the amused jury applauds. 
SILVER for the lion – that was “clear as a bell”. This calendar is wonderfully cheerful and colourful and contains an excerpt of the enormous creative potential of the Leipzig book children – the pictures and texts were created in their own workshops and in school cooperations. Oh, if only there were book and writing studios for children and young people like this in every place. After all, they are a valuable contribution to stimulating the imagination, encouraging free and independent creativity and strengthening children’s souls.
