Whether monkey, gazelle, hippopotamus, eagle owl or elephant: the character-strong portraits of the famous Duisburg wildlife photographer Wolf Ademeit in brilliant black and white prints hit the heart. The Bible mentions about 130 animal species. In this calendar, twelve of them are presented for the first time, each with the appropriate Bible passage for reading. The Koran is also teeming with animals. The Tanach, the Hebrew Bible of the Jews, treats them in the same way. The jury is looking forward to an exciting continuation of this instructive religious journey into the animal kingdom and awards SILVER out of conviction.
