The Argentinean Pablo Lobato portrays the greats of pop and rock music. His illustrations are like good songs. The expressiveness lies in the unusual style mixture of portrait, comic strip, pop art and cubism. With strong colours and minimalism at the same time the artist succeeds in portraits of superstars like Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin or Freddie Mercury, which do not only magically attract the eyes of music fans. His legends of music history have been featured in the “Rolling Stone” and the “New York Times”, among others. 2021 they decorate this GOLD calendar.
