The publisher calendar shows fascinating tree portraits by the photographer Pep Ventosa, who lives in California. For his photo series “Tree – In the Round”, the artist went round each tree with his camera to capture it from all sides many times. He then laid these photos over each other and combined them into a single fascinating picture. The pictures have depth and character, are intensive and expressive, and have the effect of paintings. Pep Ventosa, born in 1957 in Spain, is a photo-artist in the best sense.
