This calendar is devoted to special cities worldwide, from a unique perspective. Superlatives like the most beautiful, largest or most important are not in the foreground. Rather the pictures show the diversity, location and dynamics of the cities. The bandwidth extends from historical centres of power like the Forbidden City in Beijing, through mature cities such as Berlin and London, to small island cities like Mahe on the Maldives.
